Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Depending on the features you use, ReadyBinService may collect:

• full name
• email address
• phone number
• service address, unit, city, state, and ZIP code
• Google Places address details used to confirm the service location
• municipal, district, or hauler pickup day and approximate time (scheduling context)
• your separate scheduled ReadyBin service day
• trash and recycling cart counts
• bin storage location and access instructions
• animal and pet safety information
• a bin-location photo (required before service can begin)
• proof-of-service photos taken by staff at the property
• operator location, accuracy, and distance records used to verify a service visit
• account, role, and authentication identifiers
• billing and subscription identifiers, amounts, and billing-period information (not full card numbers)
• pending signup drafts and temporary signup photos
• support messages and a guest support token on your device (stored hashed on our systems)
• hashed device fingerprints used to limit signup and waitlist abuse
• notification preferences
• service and task history
• technical information reasonably necessary to operate and security-monitor the website

2. Address Autocomplete and Maps

When you use address suggestions during signup, the address text you type is processed through Google Maps Platform / Places in order to return address suggestions and confirm a service location.

Google operates those systems; ReadyBinService does not own or control them.

3. How Information Is Used

We use the information we collect to:

• determine service eligibility and coverage;
• establish and manage your account;
• collect payment and administer your subscription;
• provide set-out and return services;
• locate your carts and verify that service was performed;
• contact you about your service;
• provide customer support;
• protect the service against abuse;
• comply with legal obligations.

4. How Information Is Shared

ReadyBinService does not sell personal information. Information may be shared only when reasonably necessary with:

• service providers that host, store, authenticate, or operate the application;
• Stripe, which processes payments;
• email delivery providers used for transactional messages;
• Google, for address autocomplete and maps;
• legal or government authorities where legally required;
• a business successor in a merger, acquisition, or transfer, if applicable.

5. Payment Information

Stripe processes payment-card information. ReadyBinService stores billing and subscription identifiers, payment state, amounts, and billing-period information needed to operate the account.

ReadyBinService does not store full payment-card numbers.

6. Photos and Operator Location Verification

Bin-location photos help staff find and service your carts. Proof-of-service photos document that a visit occurred. These photos are stored privately and are not published. Customers and authorized staff may view them through time-limited links.

When staff start or complete a visit, we may record location, accuracy, and distance to confirm the operator was at the service address. That is visit verification, not continuous customer tracking. Staff use those operational records; customers see authorized proof information for their visits.

7. Signup, Support, and Communications

If email confirmation is required, a pending signup record and any temporary bin photo may be held until signup is completed. Pending signup records are configured to expire after 24 hours.

Public support may store a guest access token on your device so you can return to the same conversation; the server stores a hash of that token. Support messages are retained to operate and resolve requests.

Hashed fingerprints may be used to limit abusive signup-identity checks and waitlist submissions.

Transactional email may include authentication/verification messages, coverage or waitlist messages, and set-out/return completion messages. SMS is not currently sent. Authorized operators may receive Web Push alerts for operational work; that is not customer marketing.

8. Service Providers

ReadyBinService uses third-party service providers to operate and protect the service, including providers for authentication, database and file storage, payment processing, address autocomplete and maps, transactional email, hosting, and security. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to ReadyBinService.

These include Supabase for authentication, database, and file storage; Stripe for payments; and Google Maps Platform / Places for address autocomplete and maps.

9. Data Retention

Pending signup records are configured to expire after 24 hours. Other records may be retained as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, keep accounting records, and meet legal obligations. How long information is kept can vary by the type of record.

Requests to access, correct, or delete personal information are handled through support at support@readybinservice.com. Some records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, safety, backup, or dispute purposes.

Where applicable law provides privacy rights, ReadyBinService will respond as required. Requests may be limited by legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, safety, backup, or dispute obligations.

11. Marketing

Consent given to create a service account is not treated as consent for unrelated promotional SMS or email.

SMS is not currently sent. If promotional email or SMS is added later, appropriate opt-in and opt-out controls will be used.

12. Children

ReadyBinService is not intended for children under 18 to independently create service accounts.

13. Policy Changes

ReadyBinService may update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we will update the effective date. Additional notice will be provided when appropriate or required. If applicable law requires renewed consent, we will request it.

14. Security

ReadyBinService uses reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No internet system can guarantee absolute security.
